I started with vinegar again. I poured some water into a spray bottle and sprayed the buildup, letting it drip down onto the dirt. I also used a baking soda paste to remove any dirt and buildup left on the metal edges of the shower doors. As I did with the shower door tracks, I applied the paste to the door and let it set. I then cleaned and scraped the buildup from the corners of the shower door and the bottom of the door. Luckily, it wasn’t as bad as the tracks, so I only had to repeat the process once.

You can see in the next picture that there is still some buildup on the door and around the edge. I had to stop to pick up my kids from school, so I’ll have to finish this another day.
Once I finally got the scale and mineral deposits off, I washed everything down. I carefully poured water over the rails to remove any remaining dirt and grime, making sure not to let the water overflow the rails. I washed everything else down with a clean, damp cloth.

One of the benefits of the vinegar and baking soda method is that they are natural cleaners. I figured since they were natural, I wouldn’t need gloves. I learned during the long cleaning process that even though they were natural, gloves were a good idea. By the end of the day, the skin on my fingers was incredibly dry and flaky. While this is obviously not a problem,
