Topping:
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp melted butter
🥄 Instructions
1. Prep the chicken
Season with salt and pepper, then lightly dredge in flour.
2. Sear
Melt 2–3 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden (not fully cooked through).
Transfer to a baking dish.
3. Make the mushroom sauce
In the same pan:
- Add remaining butter
- Sauté mushrooms until browned
- Stir in green onions
- Add broth and wine, simmer 5–7 minutes to reduce slightly
Pour sauce over the chicken.
