. 2 pounds fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
. 1 cup granulated sugar
. 1/4 cup brown sugar
. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
Directions
1. Place the chopped strawberries in a slow cooker.
2. Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
3. Cover and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours, or until the strawberries are very soft and the mixture has thickened.
