- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp sugar
- Optional: pinch of chili flakes
Simmer everything for 15–20 minutes until slightly thickened.

- 3–4 cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella
- ½ cup grated Parmesan
- Toppings: cooked Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, etc.
